My Dell computer came with something called “SupportAssist” that scans my computers for any driver and BIOS updates. This position allows them to rule out a number of issues that may be resolved with updated software. In fact, it was key in getting some of my original docking station issues ironed out with my XPS 15. Running these commands will forcefully uninstall the driver from your computer. There are a few ways to clean up the old drivers safely.
The ones highlighted in red can be removed safely. The list of drivers will appear in the right-hand pane.
